My husband has been very sneaky this week. First he planned a fun game night with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. We had a great time playing "Bang" and Pictionary, boys vs girls of course...boys won both games. Then Monday he watched our two oldest kids and my friends four kids so that we could go out shopping and to dinner! It was great...I was in desperate need of some new clothes and the girl time was great too!
Tonight he pulled out another surprise. I'm part of the leadership team for our Mom's Group at church and we had a leader's meeting tonight. When I arrived and we started the meeting they tell me my husband has called ahead(as in a few days ago) and asked that they could do something special since I'm turning 30 tomorrow. I was blessed with wonderful words from the Lord spoken through these amazing ladies! And then they prayed for me as well. The ice cream (my dh even told them my favorite kind...mint chocolate chip...Dove specifically but really any kind will do) and cookies were an added bonus. I was so encouraged and am blessed beyond measure!
What a great guy, I love to read about amazing husbands. Happy birthday! I remember thirty - about a million years ago.
